1. Who is responsible

GOLDBACH IT · Rue du Congrès 35, 1000 Brussels, Belgium · info@goldbach.it. We are the controller for the personal data processed through this website.

2. What data we collect

When you use the contact form, we process the details you enter - your name, email address and message - together with your IP address and the time of submission. If you book a meeting through the "Book a meeting" button, the scheduling is handled by Google Calendar and you provide your details directly to Google.

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. For audience measurement we run Matomo, an open-source analytics tool hosted on our own server in Germany. It is configured without cookies: your IP address is truncated before storage, your browser's "Do Not Track" setting is honoured, and no data is shared with third parties or transferred outside the EU. We record which pages are opened, when, the approximate location derived from the truncated IP, your browser and device type, and the referring page. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving this site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser.

3. Why we use it

We use your details for the sole purpose of responding to your enquiry and, where applicable, arranging a meeting. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering requests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Who processes it

Your data is never sold or shared for marketing. We rely on a small number of processors strictly to operate the site:

  • Hosting: Hetzner Online GmbH (servers located in Germany / the EU).
  • Email delivery: Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd.), used to send us your enquiry.
  • Appointment scheduling: Google Calendar (Google Ireland Ltd.), only if you use "Book a meeting".

5. How long we keep it

We keep contact requests only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@goldbach.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels - dataprotectionauthority.be.
